Happy September Everyone!

I am back from my trip on the Disney Wish and let me tell you, I learned SO MUCH and I am excited to share it with all of you. But, let's talk about how I got to and from the port, since this is one of the most important things to do before your sailing.

Since I was sailing with other agents from out of town, we opted to use a private black car service to take us from Art of Animation to the Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal, and from there to MCO. This is a vendor that specializes in transporting guests in high-end vehicles with a focus on reliable, elevated service.

Florida Magical Tours is based in Orlando and does transport all over the area. They offer airport, theme park and cruise transfers as some of their most popular services.

The Benefits

Now you may be wondering: what is the real difference between a private car service and a rideshare app? Honestly, it comes down to personalization, reliability, and peace of mind.

The Sprinter Van

The Sprinter Van was the perfect option for our group because it gave us plenty of space for both passengers and luggage. According to Florida Magical Tours, this vehicle can accommodate up to 14 passengers, along with 10 large and 5 medium pieces of luggage. For a group of travel agents heading to Port Canaveral with multiple bags each, this was a huge win.

The inside felt spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made the drive to the port feel easy instead of stressful. Having everyone together in one vehicle also made the morning smoother because we did not have to coordinate multiple rides, worry about separate arrival times, or figure out who was going where once we got to the terminal.

Our Experience

Our driver was Manny, and he was the perfect person to bring us to Port Canaveral to start our vacation. He was funny, energetic and gave the best insider info about the parks and resorts during our drive to Port Canaveral.

Inside the van itself was a mini TV screen, which was playing Moana as we boarded and during our drive. We found out later that the movie could be changed if there was a preference, which is an amazing perk for families with littles who need something to keep them occupied during the drive. This is an amazing perk especially for families with littles who are looking to keep them occupied during the drive.

Manny picked us up early in front of Art of Animation which was our designated pickup spot. And let me tell you, the man is a PRO at packing the back of the van. I really thought everything wasn't going to fit, but it did, with room to spare! Having nine women's luggage loaded into the van was a scary thing to look at, but he did it with no hesitation or issues.

Our drive was just about an hour that Friday morning, and he dropped us off and unloaded our luggage right in front of the terminal entrance, where we went straight up the stairs to get checked in. Not having to worry about parking, fighting through the traffic, or even having to direct a driver ourselves was one of the biggest benefits of this experience. It made the perfect start to our magical cruise that we were about to board.

It was at this time we said goodbye, and Manny let us know that he would be the one picking us up when we returned! He pointed out where to meet, so that we could go straight there once we got off the ship on Monday morning, and wished us the best weekend ever.

When we returned Monday morning, we decided to walk off the ship to ensure that the people who were trying to fly out of Orlando would have more than enough time to get to MCO before their flights. Manny met us exactly where he said he would be, even a little early. He was joyful and excited just like the first time we saw him, and asked us how we enjoyed our weekend.

One of the best things that Manny did was bring each of us to our designated terminals. For ease of transportation I had parked at MCO so that I would not have to figure out a way back to the Disney World Resort Area. I had ended up parking in Terminal A, so Manny dropped myself and a couple of other ladies off at the terminal before bringing the rest of the van to their terminals. This was insanely helpful, especially since most of us were split on where we needed to go around MCO itself. And if you have never been there, trust me when I say you do NOT want to have to drag your stuff from Terminal A to B if you don't have to.

Overall Verdict

Overall, this service was a no-brainer, and I would definitely choose it again whenever I have the chance. I am not a huge fan of driving long distances or dealing with port traffic, so having Florida Magical Tours handle our transportation to and from Port Canaveral made the start and end of our sailing so much smoother.

For me, the biggest value was the peace of mind. We had a scheduled pickup, a spacious vehicle, help with luggage, direct drop-off at the cruise terminal, and a driver who knew exactly where we needed to go. After a busy travel day and before boarding the Disney Wish, that convenience was absolutely worth it.

I would 100% recommend this service for anyone flying into the Central Florida area, traveling with small children, sailing out of Port Canaveral, skipping a rental car, or simply wanting to feel taken care of before vacation even begins.
